Tax Incentives

We are working with Gregg County officials regarding River Bend Industrial Park and Business Center’s classification to be considered a Free Trade Zone which will further maximize corporate tax incentives.

Texas is one of the few states in the nation that does not enforce state income taxes. This allows all Texas employees to enjoy the money earned by their employers! Texas ranked 49th in per capita state taxes in 2005.

Texas does not have a state property tax. Local governments and special taxing districts levy taxes on real and tangible personal property. All property is appraised at full market value, and taxes are assesses by local county assessors on 80% of appraised value.
